The operation is classified as active/operating, executing open pit mining across multiple satellite pits within the broader Norseman camp. Workforce deployment relies on:

• FIFO rotational rosters from Perth and Kalgoorlie hubs
• Dedicated camp accommodation and catering services in Norseman township
• Contractor management frameworks for drill-and-blast, load-and-haul, and grade control

The Norseman processing facility underpins the open pit feed circuit. Key engineering nodes include:

• Primary crushing and SAG/ball mill grinding circuit for ore comminution
• Gravity concentration followed by carbon-in-leach (CIL) processing
• Reagent dosing systems (cyanide, lime, flocculants) requiring strict physico-chemical control
• Tailings storage facility (TSF) with geotechnical monitoring obligations

Plant throughput optimisation under variable oxide/transitional ore hardness is a primary metallurgical challenge.

Pantoro's ESG framework at Norseman integrates mandatory Aboriginal Heritage compliance under the WA Aboriginal Heritage Act 1972 (amended), requiring Section 18 consents prior to ground disturbance. B2B procurement priorities include:
